Balthazar's Spirit:
Enchantment Spell. Target ally gains adrenaline and 1 Energy when taking damage.

The Notes section includes the following:
You will still gain energy even if you take 0 damage.

I run as a Bonder in ToPK but never see anyone use the chant... does it not give a benefit to Permas bonded with it?

First, its a spell not a chant.Second Permas never get hit so you cant gain energy from it that way.

And isnt it much better if you it on yourself anyways?

You joined guru over a year ago, most probably played GW during the limelight of Shadowform and SC, and yet you haven't read the skill descriptions?

I'd flag troll, but this is Q&A...

Yes, Shadowform makes all hostile attacks miss therefore this bond is useless. In fact, all bonds are useless for Permas. Why are you even at ToPK?
Balthazar's Spirit is usually coupled with Life Bond, where you bond your team (only 3 others) with it and BS yourself. Life bond reduces damage but it also redirected to you (but you'll mostly take 0-10 damage), therefore triggering balthazar's spirit and providing you with 1 energy.

False. Protective Bond is good against pbaoe.

It may be a spell, but ti's also an ENchant. Don't blame the OP just b/c he's not familiar enough /w Paragons to really keep their crappy spell substitutes in mind.

Yes, that's true but they are found too few and far between. Is there a viably profitable perma farm that requires protective bond?
